OUR
VEGETABLE GARDEN

Our garden is the heart of URI because it unites our traditions and passions; it is the place where ideas, new dishes, and seasonal menus are born.

It is the place where our cultures come together, thanks to our diverse knowledge.

In Italy, we often eat the fruits of the plant and leave the leaves behind. In Korean cuisine, on the other hand, the leaves are desirable.
One example?
The flowers of the brussels sprout. Koreans eat the plant; Italians eat the vegetable.

That’s how we are. We combine our cultures and our knowledge in every area of the restaurant.

URI’s cuisine blends with the products of our country, which Kim knows how to interpret with his Korean roots.

Right Parallax Background Element

PIEDMONT
HAZELNUTS

The hazelnut is undoubtedly the queen of Piedmont.

The Tonda Gentile Trilobata (Piedmont hazelnut variety) is famous for its quality and shape, which makes it easy to dry. It is characterized by its crunchy flesh, its long shelf life, and its amazing taste and aroma, especially when roasted.

What role does the hazelnut play in Uri?

In traditional Piedmontese cuisine, hazelnuts are the main ingredient in many recipes and on the menu in almost every typical Langhe restaurant. It can be used as an aperitif, as an accompaniment to raw meat, in sauces, desserts, wine tastings, and as a breading.

On our menu, the hazelnut plays a different role.

Meet Hottok.

The hazelnut is used in a Korean street pancake called hottok. Traditionally, the hottok filling consists of sunflower seeds, raisins, and cinnamon. In the URI version, the hazelnut is mixed with raisins and cinnamon ice cream to create a warm, sweet, Langhe- style treat.

FRUITS
OF THE LANGHE HILLS

Apricots and plums are our main production.

We also produce grapes for the small wine production of Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Barolo, etc.

From time to time, we share our strawberry harvest with our guests at the end of the meal.

While our cuisine is more oriented towards Asia, our wines uphold the local tradition.

We hope to offer our guests an authentic and approachable wine experience that will not stop but warm their souls.

We look for traditional flavors in our wines.
